Data controller

Mangia e Godi, Via M. Roncioni 113/A, 59100 Prato PO, Italy, phone 388 8144406, email ciao@mangiaegodi.it, is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

What data we collect

When you use this website, we may process:

• Order details you enter (name, pickup date and time, order, notes), if you send an order through the order form.
• Your language preference (English/Italian), stored on your device.
• Basic technical data collected automatically by your browser (see Cookies below).

The order form is not stored on our website. When you submit it, it opens WhatsApp with your order pre-filled; nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. The message is then delivered to us through WhatsApp, which processes it under its own privacy policy, together with your WhatsApp name and phone number.

Why we process it

• To take, prepare and confirm your takeaway order (contract performance).
• To remember your language preference (legitimate interest / consent).
• To operate and secure the website (legitimate interest).

How long we keep it

Order details typed into the form stay only in your browser until you send them. Order messages we receive on WhatsApp are kept only as long as needed to handle the order. Your language preference remains in your browser's local storage until you clear it or change the language again.

Cookies and local storage

This site uses minimal local storage rather than tracking cookies:

• Language preference: a local storage entry that remembers whether you're browsing in English or Italian. Strictly necessary for the site to function as intended; no consent banner is required for this.

We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this website. If that changes in the future, we will add a cookie consent banner and update this section accordingly.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to or withdraw consent for its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
